Pricing

Any build project is a significant time commitment for us.  Over a period of weeks we will:

• work together to establish a design (in advance of build work commencing) that we can measure the success of the build against
• agree the principles to be used for individual sections of the build, following build practices for financial statement line items that have been proven in use over many years on other client projects
• complete all the wiring needed for the build
• run our own test data through the model
• pass the model over to you for your own population and testing
• consider together further refinements that may be needed to the work.

We charge our build development time at £1,000 plus VAT per day. In practice this means that we expect to be able to complete a standard build (involving modelling for one amalgamated group level balance sheet) over a minimum of 4 weeks, with a typical model build – likely including certain agreed redevelopments requested by you that may be introduced later in the process – typically amounting to £20-25,000 plus VAT.

We are happy to develop fee expectations with you in advance, and reconfirm those with you once the design, together with certain modelling simplifications (needed to bring the project in at the expected fee level), are agreed at the end of the initial week 1 design phase of the project.

We have many years of experience of wiring up models.  We expect to deliver a product that meets the agreed functionality established in the design phase within the project timescales and within the expected fee levels.

Any further work requested (that expands the model’s functionality and requires further time input) will only be undertaken with your advance agreement.
